A year and half ago while on holiday in Fuerteventura with my family, I was awakened to the thought that I was a Climate Change activist, but not in the same way as Extinction Rebellion and Greenpeace that protest in the streets and on the high seas against what they perceive to be actions of man that threaten the environment which sustains us human beings. At University, I learnt a lot of Science from laboratory based research into the natural sciences and this was married with a Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Development from the University of London while I worked at the Natural Resources Institute of the University of Greenwich.
To cut a long story short, my Hindu dharma was always the foundation of my actions and once my scientific career was over for one reason or the other, I needed to find out my true nature of who I was as a human being. I was always non-violent towards others but I used my freedom of speech liberally to what I perceived as being untrue and searched for the truth constantly over the past 23-24 years.
As a conscientious objector to those who by design extract more from Nature than Nature can release of its own accord, thereby believing in austere living having also tested out the high-life of grand restaurants and holidays, I stayed on my simple life-style aided by a devoted wife to do what I could to develop my knowledge and find the ideal solutions to man-made problems borne of ignorance. In our Hindu conception not much is said about good and evil and the evil concept is simply described as being the tamasic guna consciousness that living beings are inherently endowed with. We evolved from wild life that were purely tamasic although even in the wilderness of nature there have been thousands of species that are non-tamasic in the web of life, just like herbivores, the fishes, dolphins etc versus the tamasic predators. So today I do not distinguish between human beings as being good or evil although some of their actions I have previously described as being Satan-evil in nature. I happen to believe having over the past 24 years transformed from a tamasic mentality to purely non-violent now that these aspects of our character are wholly fluid and changeable from proper education. But education takes a very long time if one does not have a guru. For God with all the interactions that I have had with Him over this period stays out of human affairs for the reason that He has Created the perfect Nature which is self-sustaining and in which we humans have the capacity to change ourselves into the divine being that would be the only way for us to live to conserve and preserve Nature and live in harmony with a symbiotic attitude.
It is all in the mind in other words, the mind needs to be allowed to seek the divine nonchalantly, spontaneously and unpremeditatedly towards our individual destinies. That desitiny for me has this week led me to proclaim myself as a guru in my own right devoted to educating humanity of what I do know to be the truth in accordance with the prevailing reality the philosophy of which I have discussed as Vishista-advaita Vedanta in the Hindu fold. Accordingly, the next stage of my personal journey in life has led me to develop the idea that I had for in fact a very long time ago when I first established my Blog project with Wordpress 'Towards Knowledge for World Conservation (https://shantanup.wordpress.com) a decade ago to now establish another website: https://theclimatechangephenomenon.wordpress.com/
